LIVE Sketch Demo & Call for Art!
Added 2022-03-30 21:20:50 +0000 UTCJOIN ME! - For my birthday this year - April 1st - and no, this is not an April fools joke - I will be going LIVE on INSTAGRAM for a sketchbook demo! Every year I try to do some sort of Self Portrait study, sketch, or painting, as a way to check in with myself and my creative growth, as well as to slowly build a reference for my aging over time. I'm excited to look back over these when I am an old crone and see myself through my own artist lens through the years.
But I want to invite you to join me Friday, April 1st, at NOON EST, to see some of my process and my mood for this version, AS WELL AS to take an hour to break out your OWN sketchbooks or journals and take some time to self-reflect for Spring, to check in creatively, or to get something down, along with me.
Also: For that following Sketchbook Saturday, I would love to share YOUR work for a change, so if you'd like to feature a page or two from your personal sketchbook practice on my instagram as part of a collective post, please tag me on Instagram @Caya_Art on a post of your own sketch/drawing work that you would like me to see, that I could repost to my page, OR email/DM me some sample images at 72dpi to share in my post NO LATER THAN by Saturday April 2nd, NOON EST.
