2024-05-22 00:16:17 +0000 UTCThe third child is a consequence of the Greens pushing for more sons. Jaehaerys is too old to be Daeron ;). Daemon definitely has plans to get Baelon to bond with Vermithor. He knows, also, that symbology will matter a lot in the Realm. A good point in Viserys' favour, even if it was small, was that Balerion was a dragon of Kings. Vermithor would be just like Balerion in that sense. And to be honest, it would be a catalysmic sign for the Greens if Baelon bonded with Vermithor. The Greens would feel as if they'd have to act in some way. None of them really know Aegon. The last one who knew him the best in Westeros was probably Aemma. Glad you liked the last scene!

2024-04-09 16:15:26 +0000 UTCGood chapter as always. I'm glad that Sallen has decided to stay on with Aegon and officially become part of Elamaery's people. As it turns out, he made the right decision given that Aegon's actions will soon destabilise all of Essos and Sallen will get the chance to get his named etched in history as the man who managed to push Bravoos into a corner. I can see things in Westeros is getting heated as well, I'm surprised that Visery and Alicent named their third child Jaehaerys instead of Daeron but I guess it might be a way for Viserys to pay homage to his grandfather who was also a third son. Hopefully, Daemon will be able to get Baelon to bond with Vermithor before they come to King's Landing, which will probably be a huuge blow to the Greens if that happens. Plus, I am betting that Daemon knows that the Green will want to claim Vermithor so he will do everything he can to make sure that Baelon claim's that dragon. Otto and Alicent are being a bit foolish in their believe that Aegon would side with them over his brothers despite him not having a very close relationship with them. Though to be fair in their mode of thinking I'm guessing they believe they have a chance to get his alligience but they have no idea the way Aegon's mind works. The last scene was great, I am getting the "Imperial March" vibes when I read it.

Also was surprised that Aegon the younger claimed vermithor as that is a mighty dragon that could really turn the balance in the fight. Which would make it hard to fight the greens. I’m curious as which dragon Daemon will want his son to claim as only Sheepstealer would be a good substitute as he was a large dragon near vermithor size and was not shy like grey ghost. Can’t wait for the next update as Aegon finally cried havoc and let slip the dogs of war.
