Hello everyone! Here’s the first part of Chapter 4 of Detective on Duty. The next part will be out on Sunday or Monday.

This time, I wanted to experiment with a slightly different format. Don’t get me wrong, I really enjoy making comics, but they take a long time to produce, and honestly, I’m not the best when it comes to page layouts, haha. Writing, on the other hand, lets me dive deeper into how the characters feel and describe situations that are sometimes hard to capture visually.

Of course, there are moments that just look so much better in pictures too, and I know many of you love seeing those scenes brought to life. So I decided to try this approach, something like a visual novel, but with more illustrations. I already have a few ideas on how to push the visuals further to make certain moments even more exciting.

Let me know what you think! Which style do you prefer? (Maybe this could also work as practice for future projects?)
