Mai's Halloween theme stream (Commission)

“Hey everyone! Welcome back to the stream, or should I say, welcome to Cindy’s garage! Haha, I’ve been working on this outfit for weeks.” She spins the camera slightly to show off the rest of the costume, one hand tapping the brim of her hat with a smirk. "I know, I know, no wig. I ran out of time finishing it, okay?"

Yoko_Yay: Real hair > wigs anyway 😎
RinSpark: you could wear a paper bag and still look hot
AkaneLeader: Please do not wear a paper bag on stream.

Mai laughs. “See? This is why I can’t take them anywhere.”

She leans back in her wheelchair, the light glinting off her black stockings as she adjusts her jacket. “Anyway, this was the manager’s idea. He said cosplay streams are ‘good engagement.’

The chat scrolls quickly with jokes and hearts.

Then a new message appears.

Anon_89: She’s not even really paralyzed, it’s all for attention.

Mai glances at the comment, decides to ignore it, and keeps talking.
“So, about halloween’s meet & greet...”

Anon_89: Seriously, watch closely. She can move her legs fine off camera.

Yoko_Yay: bro wtf, leave 😒
RinSpark: dude take several seats 😤😤
AkaneLeader: Please refrain from false accusations.
RespectfulDev: Don’t pay them any attention, Mai. We know you’re real.

Mai exhales slowly, still trying to brush it off. But another comment flashes:

Anon_89:: Prove it then.

Her smile fades. “You know what?” she says finally, voice firm. “Fine. You want proof? I’ll give you proof.”

She grips her right leg by the knee, lifts it with both hands, and lets it hang loosely in the air. Then, with visible effort, she swings it from side to side. The leg moves limply, the sneaker wobbling slightly.

“There,” she says sharply. “See? It only moves when I move it. Happy now?”

The chat goes still for a moment, then floods.

RespectfulDev: You didn’t need to prove anything, Mai. We got you 💪
Yoko_Yay: you handled that like a champ
RinSpark: ugh trolls ruin everything
AkaneLeader: Mai, are you alright? You don’t have to respond to them next time.
para_girl22: still can’t believe people say stuff like that…

Mai sets her leg back onto the footplate carefully and leans forward, her expression tired but calm.

“Look, I don’t like making a big deal about it. I’m just me. This is my body, my life, and my choice to share it. So if anyone thinks I’m faking it, go watch something else. The rest of you… thanks for having my back.”

She forces a small smile, straightens her cap, and taps the table. “Now, back to more important things, who’s ready to see how I messed up sewing this sleeve three times?”

The chat instantly floods again, this time filled with hearts, jokes, and cheers.
