2019-12-19 01:54:50 +0000 UTCYes. Pecu felt this was a perfect opportunity to fix some things he felt were problems in his own story. I myself had some ideas for changes as well, and as luck would have it, our ideas coincided and merged quite nicely. We've already started slightly deviating from the original story, and these deviations will grow wider as time progresses. However, most of these changes are details only. The basic plot remains mostly the same. That said, we both agreed the ending isn't perfect, and we haven't sat down to fix that yet. So although I'm saying the changes are mostly in the details, I might be fibbing about the ending, but that's because I don't know yet. :-) I do know: Pecu and I both agree the changes so far are improvements, and I can't wait til I get to surprise you guys with them properly. ^_^

One question: I've read Peculiar Changeling's story a few times and in a comment on his DeviantArt page he claimed that the story was "out of date" and that there were "some problems with the plot." Are the two of you reworking the plot as part of your collaboration? Can we all assume there are new surprises waiting for us in future installments? :-D

Unfortunately, I can't make better promises as to the frequency of updates. ^_^ Either way, I appreciate the support, and the full chapter should be online before years end (not LONG before years end though ;-) ) so the wait is almost over! :-)
2019-12-14 17:02:26 +0000 UTCI definitely haven't been a faithful Patron over the years, but once I discovered Under Lock & Key had returned, I had to jump back in. Thank you for continuing the story and bringing Jenny back! The silly part is that now I'm trying hard *not* to read any new panels until the entire chapter is released!
