Online Shop Update

Hi everybody!

As you know I am in the works to create an online shop and here I am to have two definite amazing news for you:

1. It will open within the next 7 days!

2. It will soft launch which means you, my dear Patrons, will be the first to access my shop!

Here a first little look at what it will look like (sorry for throwing snippets around all the time, I am just very excited):

And now I would like to show you a little more of the behind the scenes of creating the product shots. This was undoubtedly the most fun part, maybe except for painting all the pieces.

I had to be a bit creative because of a few obstacles: I live in my studio so there is only so little space to set up a stage. During winter the sun doesn‘t reach my room and it gets dark at around 14-15 o clock already so I don‘t have much time. I don‘t have professional studio lighting.

This meant I had to get up early for fotos (some pictures I actually took in the stair case of the house because it gets all the nice evening sun) and be fast, and it still took 2 days. I also had to build up everything huddled up around my window to get as much natural light as possible. And I also created this abomination:

It is a normal bed-side lamp where I put a way too powerful cold light bulb in and taped two sheets if paper in a cone form around it. But hey, it worked.

I live in an old house with beautiful double windows and have this pretty linen curtain that I used as a background for the originals:

And in winter they are always frosted up which made it all look more diffuse and magical!

And this is what the final product looks like after cropping and editing:

I had to censor this a bit, I am sorry.

These A5 inks from last year are also going up. I haven‘t looked at them for a long time now but I still adore them alot!

As you can probably already tell, I have alot of decoration and props. In fact, I have been collecting this kind of stuff for years now exactly for an occasion like this. I went all out. It got crazy.

Pulled out the ladder and a bunch of my most fancy dresses because of the nice fabric. This one didn‘t make it to the final cut and I had to reshoot but it was worth it.

Brewed myself an extra coffee for this one and it‘s all resting on the parcel with posters (I was feeling risky, this could have gone so bad).

Placed a whole lit candle on my fave coat on a wobbly chair.

I took down an entire picture to use as surface for this one.

Then the stickersheets arrived and unfortunately four of them got waterdamage. The others are fine but still a little bit wavey so I will give the waviest ones away with the first 10 kinktober zine purchases (except for the 4 super damaged ones).

And I am happy to no end about my businesscard, the poster and the zines! Just look at them!
