Updates and plans!

I‘ve been a bit quiet in here and I apologize for that. I finished the hands-on creative work of my Degree Film but I am still very much in the trenches of editing hell. So I am very grateful for your patience and continuing support and interest in my story.

I will pause payment for the entirety of May to make up for it.

Now come the plans I have for the future with a bit of exciting news!

- I am in the works with Nen from the Webcomicshub Podcast to create little workshops/tutorials that will go up on Youtube in the following months. For those who are interested in the creative process, this will be interesting!

- It does NOT however replace the little tutorials I wanted to make anyway (remember the list I posted?). They might just come out a little slower.

- with the End of Chapter 02 I am at a good point in the story and page number to look into making a printed book! I have learned alot in the last few weeks about paneling and typesetting, so I will edit all the pages to make it look better and more cohesive (and edit out typos)

- from Chapter 03 onwards a few things will change but for the bette in my opinion! This includes: typesetting, paneling, beats and reading flow. You might not notice, however I think it‘s right to let you know

- I will start uploading on Global Comics! Not scroll format but the full pages, as this is how Little Starling is read at its most optimal form. I hope you don‘t mind not having exclusivity on the pages anymore, but this will still be the place I post the pages on as soon as they are finished, while they go up on GC much later, probably in batches.

The reason for that is that both Tapas and Webtoon aren‘t optimal hosts for indie comics. GC is building up a wide portfolio of comics from indie over manga to properly published stuff in any format. Most of it is behind a paywall but that means, I would have somewhat of a reliable income there. They are launching an app soon and I plan on riding that wave. I will still remain on Tapas and Webtoon though, just spreading myself out.

I can‘t wait to start working on Chapter 03 and I hope you are just burning in your seats, wanting to know how or if Vince will ever manage to get the upper hand again!
