The Plan...

Hey everyone! Here's what's goin on (and WILL be goin on):

For one, I'm surprised with the reception this Patreon's got within less than a day of "Interpretation" coming out. Because I haven't actually announced the Patreon anywhere other than at the end of a very messy 54-minute video essay!! (I felt that the video works better if you don't know about the Patreon beforehand - a pretty silly move to make a Patreon and announce it in such an inefficient way, but it had to be done, haha!)

So currently, all of you here are people who a) Watched the video within a day of it being out, b) Watched all the way to the end, and c) ALSO were interested in supporting me on Patreon. Some pretty low odds, and yet here you are! An absolute gang of Jerry-heads!

Here's my plan for this Patreon moving forward:

First, I'm gonna let "Interpretation" sit another day or two, just to get the most out of the Patreon not being known. Then, I'll publicly announce this in a more accessible way - an announcement vid on youtube, posts on social media, etc.

Once I've done that, I'll immediately post the first Patreon-exclusive feature (it's the Metal Gear one, figured I should start with that since I mentioned it in Interpretation). I'm definitely gonna have to figure out a good balance of how to pace these features.

I'll make a different post detailing the types of videos I'll be making over here. I already have 2 video series nailed in so far - a "discussion of a related subject segueing into an abandoned/postponed project (e.g. Metal Gear)" series, and a looser series of tutorial/guides. I also have some ideas for some rarer, more experimental features that I'll workshop a bit and update you on.

Anyway, thanks for your support. Very excited for the future, wherever it goes!
