Tale #94: Scout's Dishonor (Part 9)

Tale #94: Scout's Dishonor (Part 9) (Content Tags: Messy diapers, supernatural stuffed animals, hypnosis, the usual) Fritz shifted where he sat, the hot load in his diaper was pressed tautly against him, and it made it hard to get comfortable, especially if he was trying to avoid smearing it around into a big mess. Without his mind captivated by his teddy bear, he found the sensation a lot less pleasant and a lot more humiliating; that went ditto for the odor too, which had him reeling. "Y-yeah, you're right...Two heads are better than one. I just don't know if we're the right two heads...Shouldn't we be trying to find someone that knows about this kinda stuff?" Liam tilted his head, "Like...A wizard or something? I dunno anyone who knows anything about magic and curses or whatever. I don't even think anyone else would believe us about it. I mean...I'm not even sure that *you* believe it..." The brown-haired boy sighed and offered a weak shrug in return. "I kinda have to...I just remembered some stuff about the sleepover, and some stuff that I saw in the locker room at school..." "Locker room? What'cha talkin' about?" Liam asked, sounding unfamiliar to the events that had transpired. He spent so much time in a daze, that entire weeks of his life were like foggy dreams. "Don't you remember? You were sitting on the bench, talking to your bear, and then the bear saw me and made me come over. That was when you asked me to come over for the sleepover; when you told me to bring over my own teddy." Fritz intentionally left out the part about him admiring Liam's load, since the recap was embarrassing enough as it was. Liam looked thoughtful, like he was trying hard to remember what had happened, but it wasn't coming to him. He must have been deep in the fog during that time, which tracked since the sleepover itself was still a bit of a blur, and he'd been far more cognizant for that. "...No, sorry. Like I said before, the teddy bears mess with your head, and you lose a lotta time..." Fritz wrinkled his nose, the smell of his own messy diaper starting to really waft up from below. "Oh, I guess that's not super important...So, what do you think we should do? I could probably get a bunch of fireworks from my cousin, and we could just blow the teddy bears up." There was a visual for Liam to latch on to: the prospect of strapping a plethora of explosives to his jailer and watching the stuffing fly in one big kaboom. It was a simple idea, but it at least sounded like it could work. "Uh, I guess we could do that. I haven't really tried anything like that before...It just sounds too easy." Fritz raised an eyebrow, "What's wrong with easy? Shouldn't we try to find something easy? Instead of trying to find some magic doodad?" "There's nothin' wrong with it, I just don't know if it would work. The bears can control our brains, so do you really think they'd just let us blow them up?" Liam responded, laying out the drab reality of it. Fritz had to admit that Liam had a point about the holes in his plan. If the bears could control them whenever in proximity, then how could they ever get close enough with fireworks? The pair would be reduced to babbling pantspoopers before they ever got a real chance. "What if we got someone else to do it?" Liam shook his head, "The bears can control anyone at any time, I'm pretty sure. My whole family is in his paw right now. That's how you got dragged into this, remember?" Fritz gritted his teeth in frustration. The reality of the situation was beginning to sink in for him, and it didn't paint a pretty picture of how things would go. These silly little toys had so much power, and a pair of eight year old boys didn't have anything in their arsenal that could even approach dealing with it. "So how are we supposed to do anything? If we can't destroy them, and nobody else can either, then what are we supposed to do?" Liam put a finger to his mouth in thought. "Maybe if we could do something without them knowing what we're doing; like making it look like an accident." There was an idea. If they could somehow manufacture the right circumstances, then perhaps it wouldn't matter that the bears could control people. If they could somehow leave it up to carefully curated happenstance, where there was a guarantee that the toys would be destroyed in the process. Fritz nodded along, thinking that Liam's idea had some merit, though he couldn't think of any ways that they could execute it. A stray thought caused him to pivot: "Why are they doing this?" Liam blinked, "Huh? What do you mean?" Fritz fidgeted again and repeated himself, "Why are the bears making us into big babies? What's the point?" Liam hadn't really put a lot of thought into the motive behind it. He'd had enough trouble just staying afloat throughout this ordeal, and figuring out that the bear was even responsible in the first place. Thinking about motivation and end goals, that was a privilege of someone who had the luxury of coming into this midway through. "Oh...Uhh.. I guess I never really thought about that. I dunno if there really is any point; I think they're just evil, y'know?" Liam shrugged, though the question had provoked the gears in his head to turn a little more. "If they were just evil, then wouldn't they be trying to kill us? I've never seen a scary movie where the evil toy makes the person into a big baby. Maybe it's a mistake? Like, they think we *wanna* be big babies?" Fritz sounded hopeful that his theory might hold up, that this was somehow a big misunderstanding. Liam was less naive, and he was almost certain that the toys couldn't be reasoned with. It almost made him angry to hear, since he felt so earnestly that his teddy was a malicious force that took pleasure in his suffering. He hadn't really ever tried to reason with his bear, for the few times that he'd remained cognizant while talking to it, but he just couldn't imagine that it'd make for an effective strategy. The blond shook his head, "N-no...They're evil. They're happy when we're embarrassed." Fritz found that hard to argue with, when he thought about just how humiliating Liam's life had become this year. It was more than just making the boy into a baby, it involved breaking down every part of his maturity in the most public way possible. Then there was his own situation, where he couldn't imagine that his own eventual fate was set to diverge much from that same path. "...Can you remember much? The stuff that's foggy?" Fritz instead asked. "Yeah, but usually just little pieces. Like when you can't remember your dream in the morning, but then it kinda comes to you later in the day; never the whole picture though, just parts." Liam looked to the ceiling; to strain his recollection would often just manifest these fuzzy fragments. "I can remember just enough to know how bad I musta looked...All those times, especially at school." Liam added, his face getting warm with memories of shame. "Like pajama day?" "Y-yeah, like that..." That was still fresh in his mind too. To show up to school in his 'pajamas' for the beloved pajama day, but to be the only one in a footed sleeper, where his diaper was even more obvious than usual. The little hood with the bear ears that matched the teddy in his arms; the drooly thumbsucking and diaper-pooping. A clearer picture of the day danced in his head. The jeers and taunts of his bemused peers, while he had knocked his knees together and stuck his padded rump out; the laughter and mirth when he'd actively pushed a big load into his pants, as if he wanted to give the audience a show that he felt they deserved. There'd been an overwhelmingly powerful sense of accomplishment. He debased himself in a pathetic attempt to secure praise from his teddy for being a good 'baby bear'. It was the same emotional delusion that painted every instance of his degradation; he had been made to believe that he wanted to participate, that he wanted to become lesser than he was. It wasn't as if he wasn't already aware of that. By the time that his paranoia had begun to grow, Liam had identified the way that his bear made him feel. When his doubts turned to fears, he'd been able to contextualize how his past actions had come to pass in the first place. Even without first having the proof of the bear's sapience or malfeasance, Liam had come to the conclusion that it was the key part of the pattern. Still, so much of that was subconscious instinct, and he hadn't had the privilege to analyze and reflect too much on it. With his mind being kept under such tight lock and key, Liam hadn't been able to think about a whole lot of things. These last few days were outliers, and while they were highly suspect, Liam had to be glad that he'd been allowed so much introspection on his own reality. It felt almost unfamiliar to be allowed to be 'himself' for so long. To be Liam instead of 'baby bear'. Full consecutive days of normalcy, without his brain being hijacked by that wretched stuffed animal of his. If not for the fact that the world he'd made for himself was a twisted one, then this could almost be just as it was before this whole thing began. But it wasn't, which led Liam right back to his most primal fear: what if he couldn't turn back everything that had changed? Even if he could defeat the teddy bear, then what was waiting for him on the other side of that? Would his family go back to normal? Or his teachers and classmates? He'd already been proven that at least one thing was now independent of the bear's power, and that was the crinkly garment around his waist. "...You okay, Liam? You look kinda spaced out." The blond blinked and refocused his attention to his guest. "S-sorry, was just thinking about stuff...Remembering stuff..." "I didn't mean to bum you out about the whole pajama day thing...And sorry for laughing at you for it..." Fritz bashfully apologized, thinking that he'd hurt the boy's feelings. "N-no, it wasn't really that, it was--" **FRRRRRRTTTTTTT!** Cutting him off was a powerful fart from below, which comically sputtered and reverberated against the plastic of the colorful inflatable chair he was sitting on. Liam would have gone on to excuse his rudeness, but his body wasn't about to give him the chance. It was a cruel fit of irony, since this had been exactly what his thoughts had wound up wrapped in. It was the idea that whether or not he was controlled by the bear, that he was still going to be a diaper-dependent pantspooper. The possibility, at least to Liam's young mind, that his pottytraining abilities were forever gone now that they'd spent the year being horribly weakened. Liam pursed his lips and got red in the face; another sloppy blast erupted, and without thinking about it, the boy leaned to one side to let the flatulence more easily slip out. Without much more pomp and circumstance, a muffled crackling would herald the envoy of a mighty steamer to crash directly into the backside of his thick diaper, and the log would coil into a large pile that pressed against his buttcheeks. All and all, the diaper drop-off lasted less than ten seconds, but the thunder created made it feel like so much longer for both the boys. When the 'activity' had concluded, Liam allowed himself to sit back down all the way with a less-than-subtle squish. Like every pantload before it, the smoldering mound was mashed flat underneath his weight, and he could feel the tingling warmth spread all throughout. It'd become a familiarity long ago, and even with all of his faculties, Liam had been conditioned enough to not completely hate the feeling. He may still be mortified that it happened, but if he was in private, then he wouldn't be all that uncomfortable. Fritz stared in shock at how lacking Liam's control was; he felt a little hypocritical to notice that bit in particular, since his own pantload had come out of left-field, but there was something different about how it had happened with Liam. "Did you...Mean, to do that?" He sheepishly asked, unsure exactly how he could politely probe about the matter. Liam shook his head and squirmed, feeling the firm lump underneath him; dense and hot like a star that burned brightly in the night sky. "No...Not really. I've been wearing these so long, that I'm kinda not pottytrained anymore, even when my teddy isn't around..." Fritz blanched initially, and then looked more frightened as the implications truly washed over him. "S-so, if it goes on long enough, then..." "Yup...Then it just becomes 'real'. Potty skills are the first to go." Liam solemnly nodded. Fritz gulped, realizing how truly serious things actually were, and how the clock was ticking on preventing permanent changes to his life.
