This is honestly really interesting to think about lol, I've been considering it since you commented. The quick answer is there is of course other ways to describe - the reason I think 'tists default to "deeper" is because we have an inbuilt symbolic connection with "falling" into sleep. We consider this sort of state change "descending" into something, and returning to wakefulness to be "rising" out of that... and ofc, there is a physical element where for ME, I do feel a "downnn" type physical sensation of weight and liquidness as I relax. I'll probably write on this more extensively if I gather my thoughts but if this is something you struggle with yourself, I'm going to suggest even non-horny Progressive Muscle Relaxation audios from Youtube as a help in learning "How to relax" deliberately because ultimately that's all "going deeper" means. I could make a file on this... "What Does Deeper Mean, Anyway?" lol.

Is there a better way to describe the relaxation process than 'deeper'? - I knkw many really struggle (certainly initially) in what 'going deeper' contextually even means, which can be a barrier for many
