A Sub's Reward

René had been waiting for this moment. This was the best part of subbing, which René did on an occasional basis. Most of the time, he was a top, making other men submit to his will. But every now and then, he’d feel a need to get a taste of his own medicine. He only knew that guy under his nickname of “Boulogne_ropemaster” and he was pretty good at what he did – not as good as René, but good enough. And that was partly what René wanted when he submitted to another man – to have it be to a man who was not quite as good a top as he was. He wanted to feel a bit humiliated by the situation, as if the tables had been turned on him and he was no longer in control. In his head, he liked to imagine that he had fallen into a trap laid by a guy who pretended to be a sub but really wanted to top him. Early on in their dealings, he had confided his fantasy to Boulogne_ropemaster who had been quite happy to play the part René had devised for him in his head. Did that make René a “power sub”, he sometimes wondered? Did Boulogne_ropemaster also enjoy the unusualness of being a top who was told what to do by his sub? At the moment, René wasn’t asking himself any of those questions – he was just enjoying having been made helpless and servicing his master for the night. That was a sub’s best reward.
