When students are learning a foreign language, they are often advised to try and set up a "conversation exchange" with a native speaker of that language. The two will agree to meet, say every week, and have a conversation first in the native speaker's language and second in the student's language - or the other way around. But this practice need not be limited to language students. John and Raymond met on a chat site and found that they had a mutual interest in tickling. So they agreed to have regular "tickling exchanges". This week, John is the one getting tickled and Raymond is doing the tickling. Next week, it'll be the other way around.
Where did they get such an idea? Well, the fact that John and Raymond are both language teachers might have something to do with it…
