She is awesome, a Leo like me :P

very powerful and sexy! The pose resembles the stance of a proud cat, and hair resembles the main attraction of feline lion physiology, which is the hair mane and that the design was well represented by a woman with flowing hair and totally confident of herself. The face was very similar to the face of a lion and some canines would be would be pretty cool it.

Very awesome, though I wouldn't have known it was leo from far away. A little more gold/ orange / lion type colors would make it more obvious. But it stands on its own a fantastic piece!

Wow, there is a lot of cool stuff going on in this painting. It is very beautiful. I love the way you handled her hair. Its cool of it resembles a lion's mane by spreading out wildly behind her but also having some of it come down and connect around her neck. The crown is a nice touch to reference the whole "King of the Jungle" thing. Her pose is really interesting. To me it looks as if she could be ready to pounce like a cat at any moment. The star-like sparkles connects her to both the idea of horoscopes and the star constellations. I really love the white with hints on purple color pallet; its just so pretty. Amazing job with this painting! ^^

I did as you said and started a zodiac series of my own as I wanted to. :) Used some techniques from your tutorials as well and achieved a rather satisfying painting - one of my very firsts actually. :) Some, because baby steps, hehe x) Thank you for inspiring and sharing your knowledge!

Absolutely beautiful, the colours are just amazing, i love the purple tint throughout and the whites of the character contrast very nicely against the background which itself looks fantastic. Her hair is just brilliant, the way it spreads out and is so detailed, then coming together again in the front like a mane is a touch that i really like. I also love how she's posed with a lovely gesture throughout and the effects on her tail and lower hand are incredible, how they're transparent, ethereal even. Magnificent work, one to be added to my list of recent favourites :D

Well this is an interesting take on Leo. I'd never imagine white and black colors used to interpret a pin-up adaptation of the queen (king) of the beasts herself! O_O Kind of curious: Was there any other form / reference of inspiration when you drew this piece? It looks completely different from what you would expect when you think or hear of a Female Lion-based Pin-Up ^~^;
