Added 2017-01-26 23:08:45 +0000 UTCAfter catching up Legend of korra book 4 I just had to paint a piece dedicated to her awesomeness. I was honestly blown away by the quality of the animation the show had, so much action ! I wanted to show a bit of that action through this piece :3

The broken rocks and air swirling around her add a lot more movement to the scene. The scuffs and scratches on her body are a great detail to express the action you were going for. I'm really glad you decided to go for such a style with this painting, I think it really fits the show and character. Your attention to detail is just outstanding. Amazing work once again Sakimi Chan! ^^

It seems like the base color was too light so when all the other lighting came into effect it ruined her color. The hand holding the water looks to be closest to her actual skin color.

She is brown not white. Please, people don't give me crap about the lighting because even in the animation (and anyone that has studied art) could tell she was obviously brown, same as the Esmerelda picture you did.
