Chinese Zodiac. Snake.(term 50)
Added 2017-04-08 00:30:15 +0000 UTCThis Terms I've been trying to experiment on more tricky poses, kind of Schelling but I think it's a good practice for me ^_^ This piece is my take on Chinese/animal zodiac the snake. I really wanted to create a intense light near the font of the image and having the focus going from the bottom to the top .
►This is a term 50, tier 2+ reward ◄
(term 50 sign up time is from April 1-20)(will be send out 1-15th of May with the other rewards for term 50 rewards ^_^) comes with

But I am also sad that it isn't quite like the other zodiacs that you have done. I was expecting a naga or something close to that, but this one is just a snake enchantress soooo.... I guess I just didn't have a love for this one like the others. But as usual, your artwork is fantastic. I both love and dislike it. <3

The way the snake flows through out the piece and the woman lying on top of it with her out stretched arm. Its really cool how its all laid out together. The detailing on the snake itself is amazing; there is so much distinction between each individual scale. I really do like what you ended up doing with the lighting. The woman looks great, as does the tattoo on her arm. The water, the ripples in the water, and the lotus flowers, are all fantastic. You did an amazing job with this piece Sakimi Chan! ^^

The lighting in the lower half of the image really adds a sense of drama to the piece, and is something a bit different to your usual paintings. The lighting and the positioning of the arm ties together well with the coils of the snake, leading the eye through the painting and back again. Stunning colours! <3
