Amaterasu(term 50)

This is my take on the personified form of Amaterasu ( the sun goddess of japan) from the game Okami :3 I painted her in more exaggerated proportions such as long legs to make her feel more goddess and other worldly like. I also tried to retain that paintbrush style that you would see in the game in this piece. fun and interesting piece to work on ^_^
►This is a term 50, tier 2+ reward ◄
(term 50 sign up time is from April 1-20)(will be send out 1-15th of May with the other rewards for term 50 rewards ^_^) comes with

The soft appearance of her clothing without too many details is really striking against the background, which has a lot of detail and colour. Great job! <3

I never got to play Okami unfortunately, but I have really liked the art style of it. I am seriously in love with this painting. There are just so many amazing details. The fire effects are really cool. I love her hair and how fluffy the ears look. The painterly look of the cloud-like elements and the dark outlining look great. Overall this is absolutely fantastic. This painting has definitely become one of my favorites that you have done. Wonderful job Sakimi Chan! ^^
