Update about the $10 Tier Post

There seems to be some confusion. That recent post about the $10 tier is just me kicking around the idea. I'm currently working on the suggestions for this month and I don't plan to just drop the tier next month or anything. I may well continue to take regular suggestions for the next few months, I was just kicking around the idea of changing the tier sometime this year.

2021-05-20 17:34:04 +0000 UTCThe idea is that people will be able to vote on multiple ideas. Then the top ideas will get voted on. It seems incredibly unlikely that ideas won't accumulate votes at that point. I'll probably save coloring for the $20 tier. Or just do them anyway...

2021-05-20 17:33:22 +0000 UTCAlso perhaps you can give a $15 tier the opportunity to vote on what past requests to color and potentially have a guaranteed request spot for a $20-25 tier. If you were to do a guaranteed request tho for a 20-25 dollar tier I would recommend them being colored because you are essentially doubling/2.5x-ing the price of a feature available for $10 therefore you would expect the price increase to correspond with additional features as well. You would likely would need to put a limit on the $20-$25 tier though as it could easily overwhelm you

2021-05-20 17:19:37 +0000 UTCI agree with Mashugana about the poll idea. However there are some logistical concerns I have. Say the poll was available to all $10 patrons and everyone put their own ideas down. Most likely everyone would vote for their own idea thus making it a stalemate. I feel like having the poll to vote on the suggestions open to all tiers may resolve this issue though. Another thing to consider would how you deal with requests to color in past suggestions. You can either do a separate poll, lump them in with the suggestions poll, or stop doing color requests altogether (which probably would be a bad idea). Idk what to do about those tbh. Also, a potential incentive for future higher tiers would be the ability to vote 2-3 times in those polls instead of just one vote.
