Fold flat irimoya roof
Added 2018-01-25 09:34:22 +0000 UTCStarting with the fold flat adaptation for the Japanese roof. I basically took the design for the walls and then redistributed the connectors along the edges. I was surprised to find that this alone made a tight roof once assembled. The parts are being held very nicely together!
To round it off I added the bottom clamp part because I need it to place the roof onto the walls module and also it will hold the roof together even better.
Here is a "inside" look. All parts are assembled save the bottom clap. That way you can see how the single parts interlock with each other.
And this is the roof assembled and placed onto the wall section I built yesterday!
Now that this has worked so well, I will build a textured version next to see if the connecting edges look good enough. But looking at the other fold flat stuff I have made I don't think there will be much to worry :-)
