SVB2 water wheel prototype
Added 2018-02-09 09:21:25 +0000 UTCHere is a look at the waterwheel for the mill extension. When I was researching what a Japanese water wheel looks like, I found the most common type was the 32 shovel version.
I made a quick white version and I have to say I like it a lot. If this is too much detail for you, fear not, there will be a simple version, that should look almost as awesome as this one :-)
I usually am a big fan of quick and easy build, but for this I found the detailed 3D version looks so great it is wort the effort.
I cut off the bottom end where the wheel would be submerged in the river flowing by. That way you can just place it onto your river terrain next to the short or long side of the mill house.
I will probably make another little section that will represent the part that holds the axle on the other side of the wheel. They can be very simple or look like a very tiny house version.
