Shrine base I

When I looked at the reference pictures I found that both the height of the raised platform and the height of the railing of the white prototype were too high (see https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/e2/Shinra_Zenjin_Hall.jpg), so I squashed the base a little in height. This will also make for better looking entrance stairs. And then I started the texturing!

Usually the outside "ring" of the architecture is just framework, but for easy building I have added some filler textures (which you can turn off). This version is very easy to put together.

I will build a "hero" version with just the framework but for now I am happy to start with the easy version :-)

As always I am spending a lot of time optimizing the layout of glue tabs, so that the assembly of pieces works without complications. The white prototype was a mess in that regards, but you have to start somewhere!

So for now I have the "walls" of the base completed. Next are the entrance stairs and the base floor.
