Elders house texturing II

Here is a first build of the textured main house. It went together very well. There are only a few things I want to improve.

The main building looks like this.

Depending on the layers used for print you have a couple of choices as hinted at yesterday.

Then you can choose to add the veranda (engawa) modules. One example looks like this. It's the full length columns version.

I was happy with all except the sides that connect to the main building. I think I need to make them thicker and thus stronger. For this build I have just used two layers of paper, which was still a little wobbly.

But if you glue it to the main house it doesn't matter. Only when you cant to remove it (esp for the fold-flat version) it needs to be improved.

I will continue with the extension building and then I need to complete all the missing texture option layers. I have just focused on one version for now so that I am able to build and have something to look at on my work table :-)

After that I will tackle a first fold flat build. So lots to do!!!
