Swivel guns and flags
Added 2018-09-21 12:00:31 +0000 UTCI have built a weathered pirate gunboat and added the swivel guns and a Jolly Roger flag. The flag - like the swivel guns - are removable.
For the flags I am planning to further add a British, French and Spanish flag.
This is one version of the British. I will have to make some research which versions will look best too add. If you have any other flag requests, let me know.
I have worked over the deck details and improved the look a little. My previous versions had too little "border" frames.
Now that I have completed the major design, all that is left is to rearrange the pages layout to optimize for printing and start making the building instructions.
Soon it will be time to board the ship with a crew of your choice :-)

It's always great to have options :-) For me I will make a flag that I glue to the mast, as the removable part just makes the flag look a little bit weird and clumsy. I will include the instructions on how to scratch build the guns but I might make a tutorial page on that on my website too.
