The Sloop continues ...
Added 2018-12-03 11:43:11 +0000 UTCI have managed to adapt the main gaf sail to the new dimensions for the sloop. It's bigger, it's better and it's on the page size limit :-)
Next I will work on the mast extensions as they are crucial for this ship and all the other large vessels in coming up. As the fore sails will be attached within the overlapping part, I need the construction to be detachable, so you can take the extension section apart, insert sail loops and then put it back together again. This is designed for those who want to build their ship to be taken apart for easy storage. The tests I have done, look promising and sturdy enough for the purpose.
