Taking the Sloop apart ...
Added 2018-12-13 09:21:51 +0000 UTCToday I want to quickly show you how the Sloop can be disassembled for better storage and/or transport. Above you see the main components, esp the masts taken apart. That is just one way. For my next build I have chosen a different split. It all depends on your needs and cutting skills (more on this later). This one above is the easy method.
Next is the main gaff sail ...
... and the job and genoa sail.
And here is a little peek at the details options for the binnacle compass box ... added a compass and sextant if you want some stuff on the top :-)
