Court yard house white build
Added 2019-01-09 07:44:25 +0000 UTCToday only a brief update on my progress. Here's a look at white test build of the basic house. The biggest design choice was the top roof edge. I was tinkering with the rounded version but went with this one as it is much easier to build. I will show an alternate building path in the instructions if you want the rounded top.
During my first attempts on a build, I added the column elements to the front edge on the sides. This not only looks better as it emulates the thick walls but also makes the edges stable and also give me the planes to attach the column section.
Now I will try out a fold flat approach. At this size - and this is the smaller of the two basic versions) - fold-flat is a must for most :-) Also I can then try out the slide over 3D round or square columns.
