Brig figurehead section
Added 2019-01-13 10:53:30 +0000 UTCSo this one was a little bit tricky for me, but I think I have got it now. This will be the geometry onto which the actual figurehead will be attached.
I will go for two versions. The one above is the advance one with the cut out details. The other is a larger side shape, which could be used for figureheads that have ornaments going back, like angel or dragon wings or similar.
These sides are kind of optional if you want to skip them. In terms of geometry, they are their own thing. They are easily glued on to sides of the hull with the bottom "line" integrating with the ship's hull design.
With this done, I can now start preparing the unfold for the 30mm size and start a full scale (30m minis) build and work on the placement of the masts and potential raised bow deck.

Thank you guys. Actually I am getting some feedback on other (ship model) sites so I will adjust this a little. Turns out it's too big for a smaller brig type of ship. Work isn't wasted though as I learned a lot and can use this one for larger ships!
