I was able to complete the base deck textures and create the wall separating to the interior section!
I also created a texture for those who want to do some interior too. I added "light" falling in through the windows. I didn't have the front wall finshed then, so I will add some "light" also indicating where the door and round window is on the front wall.

Here is a size comparison Brig vs. Sloop to get an idea of the scale of this new baby :-) It actually looks really large on this pic. When I put the Sloop into the foreground it looks almost the same size. So perspective distortion is helping in this image! It's "just" 4" longer than the Sloop.

I also tried to insert the masts from the sloop models I have and see how that looks. It worked and looks great. One can get an idea of how the brig with rig will look. Of course the rig will have different sails! But one thing at a time.

I also put in some paper minis on deck. There is so much space now. I even placed the smallest rowing boat between the masts as a rescue boat, but you cannot see it well in this pic.
Now it's time to work on the deck details like the upper deck railing and the stairs. And then I also have to finalize the bow figurehead section ... and ... and ... and :-)
As usual there is enough to be done, so I better get to it.
Until net time, have fun and keep building!
