Building up the armoury
Added 2019-03-01 09:36:29 +0000 UTCWhile I am waiting for Patreon to do it's month end thing I am getting the brig release ready and building the new hull.
This new build will feature open gun ports with cannons. Lots of cannons!
I only built 8 when I create them and now I need 14! So I have started the side project "paper model arms build-up"! :-)
The above image shows the detailed and simple cannon build. I have also created these flat 2D cannon tokens (for the 2D deck versions).
And then I am working on 16 new 3d cannons. Here's how I started. I am using the auto-cutter for that :-)
I want to reinforce the wheels, so I am using this template to make solid, thick wheel cores.
Transforming these auto-cut-out shapes into ... not pills! ... but the foundation for where I glue the textured wheels on :-)
Once I have the cannons done, I will show you the new hull. I think it looks amazing! Hope you will love it as much as I do!!!
