Knitting ratlines continued ...
Added 2019-03-13 07:37:57 +0000 UTCThe first try looked to massive once I had a chance to step back and look at it from a distance. I have decided to change the ratlines by getting rid of the outer lines and spreading the remaining a bit wider. Now it looks much more balanced.
Here is a direct comparison.
I can still use them for a larger ship like the galleon :-)
Up until now I always cut the advanced ratlines manually, but I think this time I will go for the auto cutter. There are so many!
Now I need to tackle the upper mast with crows nest and upper ratlines and then we need square sails!

I am making print-to-transparent versions, same as with the sloop! I just never gotten around to buy me some transparent sheets :-)
