Tropical/Pirate Village concepts

After the ships I was thinking about doing some buildings for a change again and one style that came to mind was a tropical village where the Pirates would live on their island. So today I want to show you a peek at the buildings I want to create with these concept sketches.

As with most of my village builder sets, there will be a couple of main building blocks that you can then modify through color and texture options but also add-on additions.

In the first sketch you can see the basic building on its own and with some veranda extensions. I envision them in Caribbean colors like you saw in the last post about the painted wood textures. But I also want to do another texture variant later with bamboo for a Pacific island village variant.

Here are two more base buildings, one smaller and one larger which you can combine with the veranda extension and also with each other.

Unlike the Japanese buildings which had reed roofs I want to make a palm leaf texture this time and once I have all the new texturing designs done this will give you a lot of options to form any pirate or tropical village, small or large for you gaming table!
