Texturing the village
Added 2019-07-27 14:14:48 +0000 UTCHere is a look at the first textured 5x3 house builds. There is no dirt layer yet but because I made the regular wall coloring grungy it already looks worn and used.
I have implemented the configurable door and windows at each position so I can now build all kinds of layouts with the two different looks.
I also got the 3x2 extension done. Here I have used it as a veranda with closed blinds. Adding some of my basic bits already adds to a lived in environment look. Barrels (with rum) should be part of every Pirate village and the new crates make great additional steps!
I'll start working on the interior and try an advanced build with open doors and windows next.
Thanks to everybody who helped out with ornament ideas on the various sites I have asked. If you have "stuff" you would like to this kind of village, don't be shy and let me know. I cannot promise anything but I will try to do all that I can implement!
