I started the video that I posted thinking I was going to try to do another couple hours with it as my scene partner... But after just 10 minutes of using it I genuinely wanted to blow my brains out, which I think you see in the final product.

Please tell me that is an hired actress or a friend I’m going crazy. Can I just offer a compliment. I recently saw a video about how modern technology in movies like phone use always comes off as corny and tacky. For some reason I really enjoy the fine balance of timeless looking visuals (blank slate bald guy in a vague hotel room) with criticism of modern technology. I think it’s a really clever balance that doesn’t come off as a tacky ‘phone bad’ thing. Your featureless bald head, vague looking characters and scenery with no identifiable things like brands or products makes it so that this almost feels like a cartoon or a stage play. The phone doesn’t come off as an anachronism in this timeless set.
