2025-03-06 12:31:58 +0000 UTCIMHO they do make it easier to get in/out of for less flexible people and also avoid the stress concentration around the very long zipper which doesn't expand like the latex - making the ends a common failure point unless significantly reinforced. These days many of the premium brands has at least a few shoulder zip catsuits, it's been around for many decades. I'm wondering if it actually might have started with budget molded latex, it's generally more fragile so the stress around the zip would be a bigger issue for them. I know Latexa (DE) had shoulder zip catsuits 20+ years ago and they're a budget brand that always use molded latex AFAIK. From the photo this catsuit seems to have much longer shoulder zip than the ones I've seen, don't think that'll make a big difference for dressing but it gives a bit of a different look to most, I assume it's a deliberate aesthetic choice.

2025-03-06 07:01:53 +0000 UTCI've seen shoulder zipper catsuits come up in recent years, but never tried it so far. I'm a big fan of neck entry anyways. Yes, difficult to get into, but so much more rewarding when there's no annoying zipper in front or back, constraining the otherwise elastic material with its non-elasticity. Shoulder zipper sounds smart in a way as the zippers are along a line that never needs to stretch in any way. My worry would be that there might be too much "pull" of the catsuit, pressing the zippers against the collar bone, becoming uncomfortable over time, especially when wearing for longer time. But as I stated, I never tried.

2025-03-05 23:49:57 +0000 UTCLibidex do a shoulder open one. I think that they are more in mens styles. Not sure about that though.

2025-03-05 22:17:53 +0000 UTCNever seen that kind of design before! I wonder if the catsuit is tight fitting would the zipper dig into your neck at all?
