I love how little we still know. I love how this story is structured and paced. I can't stop thinking about this show when I am not watching it. 😂

2024-10-13 15:45:23 +0000 UTCJust now able to start catching up on reactions. Wow! In all the watches of this series, I never realized that 2019 Ulrich and older Ulrich were 2 different actors. I never even questioned it. Mikkel and Ulrich both have that experience of being stuck in the wrong time and having to grow up or grow old there.

But I am not sure why it suddenly went unstable after he passed through. I'm curious if Elisabeth shows up. Does she know how to work this all? No clue.

Was it showing unstable because people were trying to take the energy to harness for themselves? Was it always there or was it created? I mean fair, her business is her business but communication is a big deal as is trust. That moment you meet yourself and she's an ominous old lady with time traveling abilities. Suspicious Minds is perfect, especially since we all do have supsicious minds after watching this show. Okay so adult Helge was saying don't trust Noah, now his commander is being called into question too. So Adam and Noah are using time travel to play God and start a new world on their terms. Jonas is trying to stop them but seems to be making things worse. Sorry if I'm rehashing things, I'm just reminding myself of what we know as we go! I like that Ulrich is ultimately the one that states "everyone gets what they deserve" after spending 34 years in prison for a murder that didn't happen. Attempted murder by savagely abusing a child definitely. And he knows he deserved what he got. You're right though, Old Ulrich is perfectly casted. I might touch the big glowy ball of Dark Matter but would I step into it? At least now we know how Jonas got started traveling. Wait, Jonas tried to blow it up right? So is that underground sector the cave before the explosion? No wait it can't be, Ulrich came out of it... Hmm

I am curious to see if we get more older versions of characters we've come to know and love (or hate). Scar across the nose girl is mysterious! I'm digging her, can't wait for her name/relationship reveal. And yes, I'm really nervous for what Hannah might do with this new mindblowing knowledge. 😅

But 2019 Egon +33 years seems to have done a lot of introspection. “Everyone gets what they deserve.” And he was mocking Egon for being clueless (and Egon literally remarked about those song lyrics to young 1986 Ulrich mere months ago but doesn’t remember where he heard them first or make the connection), but I think he’s also talking about himself. He lost his brother and his son and has been locked up for 33 years, but he’s also not a good person. Everyone gets what they deserve. Old 86 Ulrich and 2019 Ulrich look so similar I was initially convinced it was just really good makeup. But those are two different actors. As always great job on the casting, but everything is so well done on this show. I found it interesting that you liked the 2052 girl with the scars. I was immediately drawn to that character too and didn’t know why. And I don’t remember if I was shipping them too, but maybe. Regardless, I’m glad it wasn’t just me. I also love how much you hated the idea of Hannah travelling. lol
