Who else is absolutely HYPED for this because of the episode title? 😂 That was me. [Direct link here.]
Thanks so much for watching and looking forward to your comments as always!

Finally catching back up. The only thing I'll say is that the bloodlines in Winden are so intermingled and incestuous that it's surprising the only birth defect we've seen so far is the cleft lip on Martha and Jonas's son. This season is crazy!!

I'm starting to get the vibes that Jonas and Martha represent two separate origins.
Adam and Eve has been heavily implied, especially with the visual imagery, but after this episode, I'm getting the implication that Martha and Jonas are also Mary and Joseph.
Adam saying their child is the beginning of the knot and the ending, that puts me in the mindframe of Jesus Christ.
"I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, says the Lord, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty."

😂 I mainly felt like I just wanted to pay extra attention and notes can detract from that.
And yes, I misunderstood initially.

After two seasons of pretty steady notetaking, KL just out here raw-dogging Season 3 like a boss. When you said you were not taking any more notes in the season we add a multiverse I think I made the face you make when Hannah starts travelling. But it seems to be working fine for you and you’re binging, so you do you.
I think you got tripped up by Helene Albers answering the door at Mrs. Obendorf’s. As we see she is there as a patient, not a resident. So she really doesn’t have any relation to the Obendorfs (as far as I know, I am always afraid to make any declarative statement about the relationships on this show). I was thinking maybe she backed out and kept the baby which became Katarina (it seems to have inspired the name eventually), but I don’t think that lines up with the timeline. For Katarina to be a teen in 1986 (and I was thinking she was about 16 there, 17 tops), she wasn’t born in 54/55… which is probably for the best because I don’t want to think about how young Helene is in 1954.
