We've seen that "death" in space before with the necklace floating right at the start of episode 11. In the same episode we saw someone wearing a similar (if not identical) necklace. Yo-Yo (the inhuman who could move fast). It's been a while since I watched these the first time so can't remember what happens, but details like that are always done on purpose, although often to misdirect. I'm really enjoying rewatching these and being as excited/scared to know as you are. I also, for reasons I can't remember, never watched the last few seasons so am looking forward to when we both get there (even though it'll take a while).

Yep, the timey-wimey stuff is so good!

Thanks for sharing all of this! Powers repeating over time, totally forgot about that.

Charles' death REALLY hit me hard on this rewatch, after all these years.

Yeah, when I first saw Fitz's explanation of spacetime, I was like, "THANK YOU! That was really well presented." I understood half of it before, that we are 3-dimensional beings and we cannot comprehend the 4th dimension, but that visual with the 3-D "cube" and the 2-D timeline on the side was perfect. I have seen quite a few reactors still say they don't get it afterward and I'm like, I'm not sure I could explain it better than Fitz did. The visual aid brings it home.

Very crazy episode, I feel so bad for Charles basicly having to live like Rogue no human contact unless you want to see and show peoples deaths to come and find out you have no way to stop them. My man Ward 4.0 looking spiffy but scary very well done still gotta love to hate him. Gotta give it to Fitz knowing and having a solid lock on the concept of time/future being set and the way he explained it was top notch !

I love this episode. I'm a sucker for timey-wimey stuff anyway, and I really like this variation where they show "flash-forwards" and then actually deliver on them but it's still a twist somehow. I also really like the musical motif playing every time the robin is onscreen. It's very moving IMHO and a nice change of pace from the usual (very catchy, but also repetitive) variations on the SHIELD theme that Bear McCreary does.

This episode is awesome and it is one that you will love on rewatch. Time is always a fun concept to put in a story and we now have a scene in the future to think about that is leading to someone's death like all Charlie's visions. Someone wearing a shield jacket in a plane exploding will happen in the future.....

This is my favourite episode from S3! Love the storytelling, the concept, and we get a few reveals. So Charles has a variation on Raina's power - but via touch and a little more specific. It's interesting to see how everyone interprets the visions - Daisy is able to piece together what she thinks happens, but is missing just enough of the context to misinterpret them, e.g. Coulson shooting her reflection in a one-way mirror rather than her. Both Charles and Raina seem to see what will happen, just with context differences - Raina essentially saw things that would happen but in a way that the missing context 'caused' them to happen (along with everyone's mistrust of her), whereas Charles seems to be a bit more direct. We've had indications that powers do repeat over time - Jiaying's records indicated that certain powers were known to have existed previously (e.g. they knew what Daisy's power was in general, but also that Gordon was the first teleporter) - but the 'implementation' (for want of a better word) varies between individuals, and it seems likely that the same power doesn't exist for multiple people at the same time. I love Coulson slipping back to calling Daisy Skye - shows just how worried he is for her this time ❤️. Also really like the theme for Charles - quite a simple little melody, but really evocative. The final vision Daisy gets is the flash-forward that we started 3x11 with.
