Fun reaction, as always! I'll wait to comment substantively on the finale tomorrow.

I'm happy you like Radcliffe, I think he is a really fun character. You can see that he loves his experiments, but he didn't want to force anyone to go through them. That's why he didn't have problems on the first try, when all of the people where volunteers from Hydra. But he started to have doubts on his second try, when the people were forced against their will. And of course, he doesn't want to turn all of humanity at once, and that's why he surrendered himself to Shield.

Although this is a two-part finale, and the two episodes aired back-to-back (hence no end scene), there are some things worth commenting on separately. Daisy is having a rough go of it - she's not been herself for about a quarter of the season now due to Hive's influence, so it makes sense she's a bit all over the place at the moment. Easier to talk about this after next episode though. SHIELDs plan for capturing Hive was great - using the memory machine to mess with his mind is a very novel idea, and given the number of minds Hive has (given he's ~2000 years old, you'd have to say 40/50 at minimum, more likely double that) that would have to have a deleterious effect. There's a part of me that would like to have seen memories from more than the three hosts (Ward, Will, Nathaniel Malick) we've already seen, but practically anything not from those three wouldn't mean anything to the audience, so I get why those are all we see. In episode terms, some of the lines we hear from Hive after that go back to the beginning of S1, so there are some deep pulls from the writers! If you think about it, them toying with us via the cross necklace has one interesting little side effect: although Fitz is trapped in the hanger at the end, he *cannot* be in any danger - he *must* survive that since we've seen the necklace in the future. However, I don't think any reactor I've seen has worked that out in the heat of the moment though. Despite everything, we still get some moments of levity - Fitz motion capturing the General is fun, Radcliffe's jubilation when he's not even part of the team, and of course Jemma teasing Fitz. Oh, and if you think things are crazy now...
