The one thing I find hilarious is that the Real shield and Gonzalez from season 2 of AOS had a theory that Nick had powered people hidden around the globe serving him and this was before any of this came out lol. Guess they got something right.

2025-03-08 19:14:02 +0000 UTCI have no problem with Secret Invasion BUT it's no shock I pretty much keep an open outlook on superhero stuff as it's based on decades of material and they often use an idea from one story and pull three other ideas from other stories and mix it up and whatever comes out is the marketed potion. I enjoy this far more than Thor 4, Incredible Hulk, and Iron Man 2 which were on the bottom as my three least favorite MCU projects.

2025-03-08 05:04:56 +0000 UTCImagine if they took the $212 million they spent making this show, and instead spent $45 million on a global marketing campaign with a slightly spoiler-y sizzle reel of the first two seasons of AoS, highlighting the MCU connections, and simply promoting; "Hey, we have 136 episodes (95 hours) of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on Disney+, go get a subscription!" It would've probably been a huge boon in their subscription numbers, given the length of the show. And they would've had an extra $167 million in their wallet for, I don't know, hiring competent writers for future projects? When they killed off Maria Hill I was so f-ing pissed. I loved her character. Pfff, this show came out two years ago and I'm still hopping mad about it, actually. 🤬 😢

Despite my thoughts on Secret Invasion, I always enjoy your reactions, so I’ll give this one another watch through along side you!

2025-03-07 21:46:31 +0000 UTCAfter watching Agents of shield for years I expected a show around the the former director of shield to be amazing and finally be a proper follow up with Fury and what he and Hill have been doing for years but instead we got this. Disappointed that they took this kind of idea and wasted it. Killing Maria when she could have had a proper role sucks. I have not watched your reaction yet but I definitely want to hear your thoughts on the show.
