I THINK because the Slingshot episodes were about 5 mins each (and I think there were 6 parts), you shouldn't have to blur it. I remember some reactors at the time just letting it play and maybe pausing between the parts to say something, but some did choose to edit them. I, personally, would never count Ghost Rider out. I mean, if I saw him get vaporized, I'd STILL say, "That MAY be the end of him...but I don't know." He's...tenacious. 😁 I remember someone saying, when these were airing, that Ghost Rider's power upscales depending on need, which is how he was able to break out of the containment module. He's fought some very big and powerful entities in the comics.

Everyone have already said a lot of interesting things about this episode, so I just said that Robbie has one of the funniest moments of the show with: "See this? This is water" "Wow, so impressed" This moment always makes me laugh so much. The delivery of the line and his face are perfect xD

Mace in the suit definitely has slight "Captain America"-vibes. The character seems a bit shady/morally grey, but the actor plays it in a way that makes me feel he's just huggable and lovable. That may be a weird thing to say. 🤔 Yes, in the comics Daisy Johnson becomes the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. for a while. If I recall she was a bit of a protegé of Nick Fury in the comics. You mentioned the cinematography feeling much better; I agree, but I also think they've been allowing the individual episode directors to do more unique shots and put their own spin on it. We've had some wild spinning camera and GoPro shots and "hero"-VFX/-CGI shots that really stood out to me this season. Oh boy, you lucked out on a great run of episodes to binge! Enjoy your time off!

and also praise to Gabriel Luna! I have loved him as Robbie this whole season but I think his acting really shines in the last 3 episodes!

I love this first arc of the season and you know with that cliff hanger even more craziness is to come! I think its really fun how the showrunners played around this season - it really feels like they stretched themselves even more creatively!

Is it finale time already? No? OK... So, we reach the end of Ghost Rider - maybe? The way Coulson has talked about Ghost Rider all season suggests he knows more about him than he's let on, and casually dropping "The last Ghost Rider did [make it back]" just furthers that. I appreciate that Mace and Coulson finally have it out - as I said a couple of episodes ago Coulson is essentially acting like he's still in charge, undermining Mace so this needed to happen. May calling Coulson out regarding not keeping all the secrets is also something Coulson needed to hear - it's quite clear from what we've seen so far (in the movies as well as the show) that Coulson has always been someone who's been much more 'in-the-loop' than most, and his arc in the show has only increased that, so he's at the point where *not* having the intel is rare for him. AIDA fulfils her designed purpose, acting as a shield for FitzSimmons. Her needing to exhibit the proper symptoms of being shot makes perfect sense if she's to be an effect decoy, but it's not something that would initially occur to you - and it helps us sympathise with her. Having said that, her killing Nathanson and kidnapping and replacing (!) May definitely suggests the Darkhold has affected her. Finally, we get to see Mace in action publicly - and suited up no less! It definitely helps show that he's a good guy, especially as he immediately shields Daisy when she lands by the press. Also shows that he is very good at the optics side of things - with a couple of sentences, he completely reshapes the narrative in SHIELD's favour. PS. Yes, there is a comic book run where Daisy is the director.

Yes, Daisy was the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. for a while in the comics.

This season is structured differently then the other seasons. Normally the season is split in half with half the season telling one story that is mostly concluded in the mid season finale then a semi new story starts for the rest of the season. You will notice during your binge after slingshot that the new title card tells you what the subject of the new arc is. We had flames in the shield title card for this arc representing ghost riders role. But now the new arc starts. Yes Daisy was director in the comics so nice nod to that. This is the first time seeing Mace suited up in his superhero suit.
