I wouldn’t call it “nice” per se.

To be fair, his judgment was very far off. His bias, along with everyone else, to make assumption is why they don't question that the AI robot attacked. When that didn't happen, Radcliffe attacked using a tool. I still like Mack but he is sometimes very quick and extreme to judge, in very black and white (and often wrong) ways, in various parts of the show.

Just watched this and wanted to clarify that Radcliffe never worked for HYDRA, he was kidnapped by Hive and was made to create new Inhumans under threat of death. Before that, he was independent, trying to push humanity forward. That being said, he's always come across as a bit sketchy and perhaps a little reckless?

Daisy bonding with Jemma over the downsides of having to breath with a bag over their heads was a nice call back to the pilot episode.

Forgot to mention that I love the way the light brighten the room. I think it also enhanced the way the thumbnail looks.

Time to pivot the season! Looks like we're now going to focus on LMDs and the Watchdogs, though we still have the Darkhold carrying over from the Ghost Rider arc to cause trouble - as if we needed more instances to tell us the Darkhold was dangerous, we've now seen multiple times that it corrupts those who read it *incredibly* quickly. The whole AIDA plot is told really well - Mallory Jansen does a great job at keeping the same qualities that we've seen of AIDA but with a more emotional and slightly creepy layer on top. The subversion that AIDA wasn't influenced by the Darkhold, but by Radcliffe's programming is a great twist as well. In general, I'm not a fan of the "robot attacks" trope that people typically resort to when adding robots to the story - I think it's usually uninspiring and uninteresting, especially compared to the types of story that can be told - so I appreciate that AoS puts a different spin on it even before the twist. With hindsight, LMD May moving to attack AIDA when she infiltrates the base hints that there is something more at play - as Coulson was knocked out, if LMD May was working with AIDA directly she would have no reason to 'attack' her that at that point as there were no witnesses - and the reveal at the end shows that to be the case. There's more than a few oblique (and not so oblique) references this season to what was happening in the real world at the time - Nadeer's (rather hypocritical) line about "how easy the press can be fed a false narrative" being one of the more obvious ones.

This whole time I just thought his power was quick reflexes, but the way you described Vijay’s powers sounds more like Armando Muñoz/Darwin from X-Men: First Class. His power was also adapting to survive.

Radcliffe looked at the Darkhold for like a second and has become completely corrupted tho you are right that he wasn't the most selfless person to begin with. The writers knew the trope about robots and played the audience perfectly by letting us guess the obvious way this story could go and Mack constantly referencing examples of this trope reinforced the idea in our heads. But Aida is completely innocent here. She is just following the programming of a corrupt human making her corrupt by proxy. The one that read the Darkhold is with Fitz so Aida 2 has not read the Darkhold at all. Vijay powers are a bit confusing but it seems it is adapting to threats to protect himself in different ways. The cocoon and dodging are ways to protect him so his power is more about survival.

Aside from airing at 10pm, they also tried another concept for this season roughly called the pod system. Even though the season is still very much connected, each arc still tells its’ own story. We just finished the Ghost Rider pod. Welcome to the LMD pod. By the way, I can argue and say that Mack watches too many movies but this time it helped his sound judgment. What got me laughing though is that Yo-Yo went into nerd mode but also immediately agreed and added that smart people are stupid. Roll credits. 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
