This Week: June 2 - 8

Hello everyone! Wishing a warm welcome to all of the new members who joined in the past week, both paid and free! Thank you so much for choosing to be here. 🥰

First, I'm sorry that the edit for Loki Season 2 is taking so long and hasn't been shared yet. 🥲 But I promise that it will be out so soon for you all! Thank you for your patience with that. It might not be the only edit dropping on YouTube this week (outside of Dark/Breaking Bad), but since that's a maybe I didn't want to have it on the schedule. So it might be a spontaneous drop! 👀

Second, I kinda made this week a horror week because I've been seeing so much praise for Sinners from theatre-viewers and I learned it was releasing on June 3. So I really want to watch it and I figured that since I'll be watching The Thing this week anyway because of my horror poll, let's watch them back-to-back-ish. And for the other movie of the week, let's complete the Kill Bill story because I probably shouldn't wait on that too much longer, right? 😉 It's been almost 4 months since Vol. 1! (Don't worry, I'll refresh my memory.)

Third, I am starting Chernobyl this week for members at the TV Insiders tier! Since the episodes are quite long, I'll be releasing one episode every Thursday for the next five weeks. I'm very excited to finally watch this one because I have heard nothing but good things about it. I remember how excited everyone was to see Craig Mazin's name on The Last of Us before Season 1 released because of his work on Chernobyl, so here I go having the opposite experience.

And of course, I'll be streaming again over on Twitch! For those of you who know the story of Red Dead Redemption 2, I finished Chapter 3 on Thursday evening and experiencing that in the same week as watching The Departed for the first time left a lasting mark on me that I still feel like I'm recovering from. 😭

On a personal note I am back in the pool regularly again and loving it, and also decided to get back in a Mass Effect trilogy replay! I have also decided to rewatch Rebels because Andor ended and I still wanted to be in that 5 - 1 BBY period and it's been quite some time since I did that first watch anyway! If you wanted to check out my reactions to Rebels, here is the collection for it.

I'll wrap all this up by letting you all know that some (not all) Reactr requests received throughout June, July, and August will be set aside for release here on Patreon during the fall when I'll be away and unable to do any recording. I want to make sure that I have a good pile of movie reactions to share with you, so setting some of these aside feels like a good way to do that. Of course, the reaction itself will still be completed for the requestor as soon as I can and be delivered to them.
