Thank you so much for choosing to be here. 🥰 I hope that your August is going really well so far! Mine has been mostly filled with reaction work of course, but I did spend this past weekend with family which was so lovely. I've also been reading consistently again! I finally finished Abaddon's Gate and started Cibola Burn (books 3 and 4 in The Expanse series). Season 4 is one of my faves of The Expanse show, so I am already loving the book so much - it just feels like getting deleted scenes. Let me know what you've been up to this summer!
Here are the reactions to expect during the next week or so:
For Movie Watchers: Airplane! (1980) - winner of the '80s Comedy poll, M:I4 Ghost Protocol (2011) to continue on Ethan Hunt's adventures, and the next MCU film in Phase 5 - Captain America: Brave New World (2025).
For TV Insiders: I'll share Episode 6 of Severance, and now that The Defenders is done, we are jumping into Season 1 of The Punisher later this week! And with this being a brand new show for me, the first episode will be available to everyone for free. The Punisher will run with two episodes every week until the end of Sept, when Ep 13 and Agents of SHIELD 5x01 will release that week.

Airplane maybe a hit or miss with you. Excited for Frank's return. His series is definitely the most graphic so I guess prepare for that. But wouldn't except anything else from Frank.

2025-08-14 13:21:24 +0000 UTCI'm changing my TV series strategy for the channel once Breaking Bad is all wrapped up next month, and Severance is on my list, but may not be edited and released until 2026. As for The Expanse, I can definitely understand long shows being intimidating, and The Expanse has a LOT of worldbuilding, so the first season has a lot of exposition throughout to get you familiar with the landscape, the people, etc. But man is that all worth it. Especially if political science-fiction set in space is something that you are already a big fan of from other media. The more I think about what my Top 3 shows are, the more I settle and am content with Mr. Robot, Dark, and The Expanse.

Severance might be a good one to post on YouTube eventually, business-wise because from what I've seen it's fans seem to be very loyal. Might earn you some Patrons and subscribers. Happy almost fall!
