With most parts of the world on fire or exploding, it's more important than ever to keep a little levity in our lives. Our game aims to paint a world of even more desperate circumstances than our own, but show its inhabitants getting by with hard work, shenanigans, and a bit of naughty fun. If we can get you to smile or laugh even once, then we've achieved our goal!
Strange New Bodies is still super early in development and needs all the feedback you can give. So try it out, leave a comment about how weird we are, and consider throwing some pancake money our way!
0.1.1 Demo Release
- The start of the main quest, with introductions for a jovial pilot and a mysterious cyborg!
- Six choice-heavy side quests!
- Full RPG mechanics, including stats, character mods, and items!
- Our first custom music track - it's in the intro!
- A fully rendered and friendly UI!
- Designs for all of our backgrounds, ready to go!
- Small filler events for every location!
Next week we'll discuss what's going into our November patch, to be released on the 1st for backers and the 7th for the public. This will be our schedule going forward, unless a malevolent AI takes over the planet and banishes humanity to the outer solar system or we run out of rum. Whichever comes first.
