Behind the scenes with Melissa Stratton
Added 2024-01-18 02:24:15 +0000 UTCQuick story time, so this was my first time working with Melissa and she was great even though she was late! lol... this was one of those shoots where we had to make "due" for a few reasons. First, her car got broken into and they stole her suitcase which had all her clothes so she didn't really have any options, not that clothes are big deal for me but still... it messed up the energy its hard to get excited for a shoot when all of your stuff has been stolen and she doesn't live here in LA to make matters worse. Second issue was the location, the location on peerspace looked amazing but the lighting in-person looked nothing like the photos. It was spotty, shady, and only pockets of light came through. Come to find out the owner of the location was a photographer as well, and a good one at that so she totally manipulated the photos.. guess I can't blame her when you are trying to book business but I definitely felt cheated. With all that being said Melissa was an absolute trooper and a total professional and she's freakin way more gorgeous in person then what photos or even videos let on. She has the most amazing eyes and I couldn't help but keep falling into them. Enjoy!
