Lamia front test animation

Hey there,

This is a very much WIP kind of thing, a lot of things are either not animated yet at all, whilst other things need polishing.
I just wanted to post a little update because im kinda in a hectic situation IRL atm with a lot of moving parts and i only sporadically have internet access because theyre upgrading all the wiring in my building.

Anyway, the animation.
Im trying to translate the power these lamia's will have into the animation.
Its not there yet, but to sketch the idea:
In this attack she will grab a char and drop the char into her mouth after which you will sort of get this WIP.
However im trying to get a powerful chewing animation going on (not there yet at all).
After this part i want her to really chew up the caught character inside her mouth.
(this part will deplete his willpower bar at high speed)

Next (think hydra from dragon's dogma)
When his willpower bar is emptied she will swallow the char, then the player will have "X" amount of turns to do "X" amount of damage before he's swallowed down, forcing her to spit him back out.
Obviously if the player fails to do enough damage in time, the character will slide into her stomach and be lost instantly.

Note:
This wont be the standard for all vore attacks btw.
But they do all share 2 things:
1) characters that are caught will be able to struggle to slow her down or even escape.
2) Characters that are swallowed or in the processed of being swallowed will no longer be able to perform any action.
Its different from the H-attacks where they will be able to struggle untill their HP bar is emptied.
This should make running into a a voracious girl, a more dangerous encounter.

Also keep in mind that this game is all about the "bigger picture", getting wiped out wont necessarily mean a "loss".
What matters more is that you gather enough resources during a run to cover that loss.
i mean im sure some of you have player such games, so i hope you get the idea.

Love what you've done so far, the movement, looks smooth and fluid without looping, the struggling prey is near perfect, cant wait to see it finished~

I absolutely love this and it's just a WIP. I like how she leans forward once the prey is dropped in, your extra touches are great. I am in favour of having harder voracious enemies as losing to a pred is the goal but it's better when you don't have to throw the fight. I also wanted to add thank you for working on this and taking the time to post the update even with things being hectic on your end. It's really appreciated.

Love it only i think her crouch shouldnt open as much
