It was definitely a wild ride, but one that I was able to handle much better than The Conjuring hahaha. This movie was so well done!!! As always Kali, awesome reaction to this thriller. I'm glad you liked the movie. I related to this movie in so many ways, for example. I used to get teased all the time growing up because my black so-called friends would say I would "talk like white people," and "act white." Oh, and they would say, "Why do you talk so proper?" which I thought was ridiculous. But, I was lucky that I had loving parents to educate me on the ignorance of some people. I hope you react to more thriller-horror movies like "Us (2009)." You have an awesome day!!!

I swear that I didn't think that our hero Chris was gonna get out of this one as the story unfolded. I initially watched this movie when it became available on disc and was blown away by Jordan Peele's spooky psychological thriller. I was only familiar with his comedy work from his collab as part of Key & Peele. "Get Out" is one of those films that puts it all together as a satisfying whole - the story, the dialogue, the performances, the score, and the editing. I was already familiar with many of the actors from their previous work, except for Allison Williams as 'Rose'. I won't name the actors or the movies associated with them, as you may someday do a reaction for those movies and it'll be fun to see if you remember them from "Get Out".

Makes this one worth a rewatch for sure! Especially now that I won't be jump scared by yardguy sprinting at us full speed hahaha

This was a really fun one I don't think I've ever seen a hairstyle change to a ponytail take someone's vibe from being so sweet and innocent, to so sinister as quickly as with Rose LOL Rod is the comedic break we very much need through all the tension. Love him haha I feel like there's so much symbolism in each of the objects he used to kill / knockout the family inside the house LOL. Just in general there are so many subtle hints towards things in this film, that even on my third watch now, I'm still picking up on new ones
