Iron Man 3 | Full Reaction

I was VERY excited to see Iron Man 3 at the beginning of Phase 2! And it did not disappoint. I think this was the most intense, jaw-dropping ride through any of the Iron Man movies so far.

Iron Man 3 | Full Reaction

Comments

Iron Man 1 = Pepper kills Stane Iron Man 2 = Pepper arrests Hammer Iron Man 3 = Pepper kills Killian The Iron Man Extremis comic book is REALLY good (outstanding art). Recommended if you want it on your shelf. Trevor Slattery played by Oscar winning Ben Kingsley divided audiences. The original Mandarin in the comic books was a massive racial stereotype and would not fly today. So I thought Trevor was brilliant (can't believe how early you got it !) I also have panic attacks (I get them in work meetings which is GREAT !) Fight or flight amped up to 1,000. A nice big jolt of adrenaline just when I don't need it. I've also had it in traffic jams which is horrific.

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed this one! The overall tone of this one was so deep and meaningful.. It made the dramatic moments feel even more dramatic for sure lol I can't wait to jump into more Marvel this week! Hard to believe I'm already nearing the end of Phase 2! They just keep getting better...

Kali Wali

okay hahahha. Honestly a great and funny short side story for Trevor πŸ€£πŸ˜‚ thank you for this!

Kali Wali

LOL alright hang on I'm going to watch it now!

Kali Wali

Please watch "Marvel One Shot: All Hail The King" on Disney Plus. It's a 10 minute side story of Trevor Slattery (fake Mandarin) in prison. You don't have to react to it, it's just a funny short πŸ˜‚

This was an awesome reaction. Love the real, raw honest emotions!!! Marvel movies have been the only movies that have grabbed me and got me invested in and care about the characters, and the people that play the characters do such an awesome and amazing job. They make you care about the person, character, plot and story and the way marvel brings them all together to form the ultimate super alliance is beyond description. So well done!!!! Again loved this reaction and all your marvel reactions. Thanks for bringing me, us, along for your journey

Nice! I have only seen Iron Man 3 (obviously lol) and The Nice Guys from that list so far! I'll have to check out the others eventually

Kali Wali

If you enjoyed the tone of the movie, writer/director Shane Black has a fairly stacked list of written films (Lethal Weapon, The Last Boy Scout, The Monster Squad) and writer/directorial efforts (Iron Man 3, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, The Nice Guys); among others. He often contrasts dark humor with action. He also often sets/includes Christmas in the films so its inclusion here is very much on-brand for him.

I can 1000% see this! Honestly if I would have watched this when it came out I would have felt the same way. I think that RDJ's performance in this made it that much more amazing seeing him be so real and vulnerable. And yessss, totally agree that his performance is super charismatic looking at it through adult eyes lol. As a teen, I probably would have chalked him up to an arrogant know-it-all that is going to look down on me for getting another tattoo πŸ˜‚

Since these movies were coming out while I was still a teen, my bias on Iron Man was a bit skewed. I don't like cocky people, and I felt that Iron Man was definitely one of those people. Though, as I grew older I learned that there was so much more to the story of Tony Stark. And I didn't see that when I was younger. Robert Downey Jr's performance is so charismatic, that you can't truly hate the character of Tony. I appreciate Iron Man's movies a lot more than I did back then.

This is lowkey a Christmas movie lol. Couldn't have timed it better! And you got to watch it while setting up your holiday lights!! πŸŽ„βœ¨ I really enjoyed this one a lot. I didn't realize until after that it didn't get the same vibes from media. But I'm glad I didn't see that before I watched it LOL.

Kali Wali

I was wondering why it got bad media from fans. That makes a lot of sense tho! I hope one day I can read the comics from this series! I'm reaaally excited for another Thor next too

Kali Wali

It's snowing outside, and I set up my Christmas lights today - what a perfect night to get cozy and watch this movie set during the holidays! I swear I didn't plan it like this either LOL I feel like they had huge shoes to fill in the MCU after Avengers, and this one without a doubt delivered. Like you said, I really enjoyed getting to see the more human side of Tony, with all of his vulnerabilities. Made him so much more relatable too Also, one can never listen to I'm Blue and *not* start jamming out to it hahaha. What a vibe

I really liked this movie but the reason some hated it because the Mandorin is a much different character in the comics. Looking forward to your Thor: The Dark World reaction then after that comes my favorite MCU movie of all Captain America: Winter Soldier.

Lastboyscout73

Yay. Looking forward to watching this one later this evening. Glad to see you enjoyed it.

Simon Haynes

Glad you liked it. A lot of people said this wasn't as strong as the other ones but I disagree
