Added 2024-12-23 16:00:03 +0000 UTCAlright I'll say it- How is it already the week of Christmas!? I truly believe the world spins faster this time of year than any other time lol.
Now, a little confession: I got a bit over-ambitious with my holiday plans! Between copyright claims, camera issues, and the emotional end of Red Dead Redemption II on YouTube last week, I ran out of time to deliver the Christmas magic I promised. I truly appreciate your patience and understanding! I didn't feel comfortable squishing in a filming and delivering another Christmas movie while I'm struggling a bit with burnout. I'm definitely still learning as I go, and I truly couldn't do it without you.
With that said, I'll be taking some much-needed time to relax and unplug a bit more this week. My birthday is on Christmas Eve! And I'm looking forward to spending Christmas Day with family. But don't worry, we'll still have an exciting week ahead! I'll be watching two episodes of Firefly this week, and I'm so excited to start our Lord of the Rings journey- I hope this surprise is exciting for you all!
I know I say it all the time- but your support, kindness, and enthusiasm mean the world to me. I'm thankful to have you all along for these adventures!

Take a little time to enjoy yours and spend time with family. I have missed many events and although I have to work to live, I know I can never get that time back. 2024-12-23 18:33:52 +0000 UTCI can relate to that. I work, at home and in the office but working at home can be a trap cause its at home and it doesnt feel like work at the moment. More often than not i found myself in your position when i realized i worred 60+ hrs plus sometimes on the weekend. Thankfully im now in a very comfortable position with my Job to have way more free time but i totally understand your side cause i read and saw it many times with other content creators. Im happy you are aware and can take a step back for ahwile. Oh and btw bring tissues to the Lord of the Rings, the whole Movie not only the first part, you WILL need them. I know its a commitment but if you ever have the time and motivation you should read them. The Movies are great but they leave out a lot of backstory to some of the characters in the Movies and other things are not even mentioned at all. Both for obvious time reasons. take care

I've been using an app to clock my work hours, just to see what my current work schedule is for science and I was shocked when I saw it hit 70 hours a few weeks in a row. Content creation is one of those jobs where, even when you're not 'working' you're still working lol. Which for my traveling mind, it's great! But burnout can start to creep in and identifying it before it get's too bad can be hard to spot. So the holidays came at a great time for me to take some time away and unplug a bit! I'm really thankful that you all understand that π©· It is 100% going to be the Extended Edition! I can't wait to jump into the Lord of the Rings movies finally!! I picked up the books in 8th grade, but only got halfway through before I couldn't comprehend anymore. It honestly went right over my head.. I wish I would have picked them back up, but now I'm really excited to finally sit and get fully invested in this world! I've heard so many people rave about them for so long.. I actually started to read the book in 8th grade, but it was too much for my anxiety brain to focus on and I ended up giving up midway through because it was just too in-depth for me at the time lol. I wish I would have tried to pick them up again in college- BUT now I get to sit and finally see what this world is all about! I think it's going to be right up my alley!! I know a lot of reactors and the danger of burnout and thinking of an obligation is omnipresent with them and it takes a toll. Take your time, enjoy your life and refuel so we can tissue trap you again. π I hope its the extended Edition for the Lord of the Rings. Enjoy every second with this Trilogy, its a once in a lifetime experience to see the greatest Movie (Trilogy) ever and wont come back.
