Ant-Man | Full Reaction

Has it felt like a long time for anyone else since we've sat down to watch an MCU film?! But wow- What a giant way to wrap up the end of Phase 2 (get it? giant hahaha.. *clears throat*). Paul Rudd is always the perfect blend of charming, awkward, and surprisingly heroic which I think is why I love him so much. Also, this film intensified my night-terrors of Thomas the Tank Engine lol. I loved it & can't wait to see where Ant-Man's place falls in the Avengers now!

Ant-Man | Full Reaction

Comments

Back home and getting back to as normal as I can. Will take time but one way to do it is watch your fantastic reactions. Loved this! Love your laugh and emotions even on minor things but it is so genuine. I watched last night so I am forgetting a lot. My mind is still catching up but i know the reaction was GREAT!!!! I don't remember my list from before but currently it is 1 Cap 2 Iron Man 3 Hawkeye 4 Guardians cast 5 Black Widow/Antman I want to put Luis in there because of the dialog but since he's not a main character I'm leaving him out. Getting ready to watch Civil War

No biggie just wanted to give u a heads up on the up coming films. .some have one others have multiple end scenes. Civil war is top 3 of alot of fans favs. Can't wait!

Rashad Walker

I tooootally missed this one! I'll react to it in the beginning of Civil War. Sorry about that lol

Kali Wali

Remember that the MCU has more than one end credit scene u missed the second one

Rashad Walker

Trip went well, as far as it could gone in Afghanistan but thanks anyway. No problem with the reassurance, always here for you. Lembas Bread and Tea is ready. Wish you a nice Day Kali, take care.

Curaitis

I'm glad your work trip went smoothly! I really did love this one for all of those reasons- The actors were so great and played their parts sooo well! I was worried about that too. Somehow spoilers happening if skipping to a movie further down the timeline. So I'll just be watching in order, but thanks for the reassurance on that decision! Glad you loved this one & grab your tea and snacks before heading into Mordor!

Kali Wali

Well back from my trip and going to Mordor with you now but i knew Ant Man would be right up your alley. Paul Rudd was the perfect fit and Michael Douglas and Evangeline Lilly were great as well. Cant wait for Phase 3, it will be a wild ride. Also i saw the suggestion you should watch Black Widow after Civil War and you shouldnt do it because there is an end credit scene that would completely ruin p3 for you because of a major spoiler.

Curaitis

I do love Rush!! Rock is my favorite genre of music by far. But there honestly isn't any music I can't enjoy lol. Glad you loved this reaction as much as I enjoyed it!

Kali Wali

It makes me nervous watching out of release order so I may just stick to that! But I'll definitely keep in mind that Black Widow falls after Civil War timeline wise when I go into it!

Kali Wali

Pretty sure you said you were watching them in release order, but I think it would be better to watch the black widow movie, in the time line order as it is set just after Civil War.

nexus

Oh, Kali. If you were a big fan of 'I Love You, Man', then please πŸ™ please πŸ™ tell me you love Rush 🀣 (I'll forgive if you don't πŸ˜‰ but they're my favorite band). This is my favorite 😍 reaction so far! πŸ‘

Jonathan Spahn

I have to say that's something I really admired, too. At first I thought, 'Oh great. Another guy coming into the family and not caring about the kids' but it was so refreshing to see how much loved Cassie and wanted the best for her. The way the mom navigated the question about Scott being a 'bad man' was so healthy and, like you said, well done! It made the movie that much more enjoyable to see healthy relationships and people show full forgiveness and concern and love.

Kali Wali

I've seen other people mention how the cover art could be super spoilery before too! Not with this next Cpt. America one, but in others too. I also wish that there was an option to hide art before watching the movie! But I'll just make sure to click really fast or something haha. Thank you for the heads-up!

Kali Wali

I looooved the 'everyday hero' aspect of Ant-Man too! I kinda felt like as soon as he said 'I have a daughter' when he got out of prison it was going to be an emotional journey lol. And I wasn't wrong- but wow his love for his daughter was so real & who wouldn't become an Ant-Man for someone they love and for their future 🩷 And yesss! Fury! It's great how he is hilarious in both this movie & in Fury. He seems like he would be a pretty funny guy irl lol

Kali Wali

I love that the new boyfriend/husband isn't a straight up jerk and clearly cares about Cassie as much as any father would. Their responses to Cassie's difficult questions were very well done. And all of them having a meal together at the end was the most wholesome thing.

I had a feeling Ant-Man would be totally your vibe! Glad to know you had a blast with it. πŸ‘ I hope you go into the next Captain America movie as spoiler-free as possible. Even just the artwork banner on Disney+ spoils major stuff, so I hope you click the play button whilst squinting your eyes so as not to see too much! πŸ˜‚ I really wish Disney+ had an option to hide the thumbnails and banners etc. They oftentimes have major spoilers on them, it's frustrating.

Onno Smits

One of the things I really love about Ant-Man and Paul Rudd's portrayal of him is that he's our 'everyday hero'. He's not enhanced, a super genius, or one with powers. He's just.... a guy. A guy with a big heart and a lot to fight for. Really loved his character development here! I also really liked the parallel father-daughter themes that Scott and Pym had. You caught on to how everything was intertwining between them really well! Also, Hope's actress had some phenomenal line delivery in this movie, particularly in the more emotional scenes Fury! That's where I had seen Luis' actor! I knew he was familiar but couldn't place it the entire time while I was watching this movie for myself LOL. I think he played his character amazing here!

M1 Maz

yes for sure! totally missed it lol... but i'll be sure to watch it in the beginning of the next Cpt. America! 😱

Kali Wali

I totally did! i'll be sure to watch it in the beginning of the next Cpt. America! i've been dealing with a migraine and I think it's affecting my brain cells 🀣🫨

Kali Wali

ooo you're right I missed the end one! i'll be sure to watch it in the beginning of the next Cpt. America!

Kali Wali

As already mentioned, you missed the 2nd post credit scene so if you can, go back and watch it because it pertains to the next movie. They started putting a mid credit scene and a post credit scene in several movies after this, so watch out for that. :) The next one is my second all time favorite MCU movie. Only Marvel can get you so attached to an ant that it actually breaks your heart when Antony gets shot. This movie was the last movie I didn't go see opening weekend. After this one, I saw them all in theaters no matter what it was about.

Lastboyscout73

I think you missed the second after credits scene, or you watched it off screen. Great movie react.

BigBrain69

Loved the reaction but I think you missed the 2nd end credit scene!

Simon Haynes

definitely agree!

Kali Wali

Nice, been waiting for this one! Lets go.

Simon Haynes

LOL so my intro saying hi to you all duplicated in this post.. I'm obviously already getting rusty at editing over here with my fancy new editor haha. So, ignore that while I go die of embarrassment πŸ€£πŸ˜‚

Kali Wali

Antman was always one of my favorite MCU movies to watch. And it’s a good epilogue to close out phase 2 after the craziness of age of Ultron

Jp Davis

OMG. More of a reason to read the comics! I also agree that Marvel does a great job at making a superhero movie but not making me feel like the world could rip apart at any minute lol.

Kali Wali

It's nice that Marvel can make a feel good movie that doesn't have World Ending stakes πŸ˜‚ a plot that's kept localised. In the comics, Hank Pym originally created Ultron πŸ‘€
