Hi everyone!

I'll be posting my schedule a bit later today, so keep an eye out for that. But really quickly I just wanted to get some suggestions for a movie poll that I'd love to put out later tonight!

I want to take a mini break from LoTR trilogy before I hop into The Hobbit (a week or two, not long hehe) and I'd love to know what movie you all would like to watch together this weekend! This will be a Patreon Exclusive, so feel free to pick anything you'd like to see here, and I'll put a poll together for you all!

So, what movie should we watch together this weekend?? Leave your thought in the comments for me, thank you!

I hightly reccommend to watch Blade Runner from 1982 first! :)

Makkelmekkel

That's great 😊😁 I'd love to see your reaction to each of these titles. Each has a different vibe. And while I love Dune Part Two and Blade Runner 2049, I'm most looking forward to your reaction to Arrival. It always blows me away emotionally.

Łukasz Jarczewski

I haven't seen any of these, actually! I've had tons of recommends for Arrival, Blade Runner & Dune! They're on my list to get to eventually thank you!! 🩷

Kali Wali

And is it possible to watch any of Denis Villeneuve's films? Arrival, Blade Runner 2049 or both parts of Dune? Unless you've already seen them. Just asking.

Łukasz Jarczewski

One of my all-time favorites.

McShades

50 First Date is a great Romcom movie. One of Adam Sandler's better movies.

McShades

Real Steel is a great Steven Spielberg movie. Has Hugh Jackman in it.

McShades

I've seen this! My reaction is up on YouTube but unfortunately it was filmed right before I started Patreon so a full watch along wasn't made! :(

Kali Wali

50 first dates (just to see you-know-who in a different role). It would be a nice change of pace compared to what you have been watching lately. And probably minimize the tears and maximize the laughs.

DarthChef

Oh man, I saw this in a Sneak Preview at my local cinema (you get a discounted ticket and go see a movie that isn't out yet. You don't know what sort of movie it is until it starts) and was blown away. I had no idea what I walked into and was intrigued from start to finish!

Onno Smits

Didn't see it posted here so figured I'd throw my vote in for Jojo Rabbit. There's a lot of great movies suggested here though ☺️

ButtercupsTrueLove

The Naked Gun series is good for some laughs.

Doug Watson

Scott Pilgrim vs The World directed by Edgar Wright.

Lastboyscout73

An older movie that I'd recommend you watch, at least, at some point, is the original Murder on the Orient Express, from 1974.

Malcolm Ferguson

Knife's Out is fun and clever. Probably something you would enjoy. It is something like a murder-mystery/detective movie.

Eric H

Shawshank redemption highest idmb movie

20 16

La Vita e Bella – (aka Life is Beautiful) (1997)

Matthew

Innerspace (1987) - a fun action adventure romp Also, I second Cpt’s suggestion of A Quiet Place (2018)

James Hadden

If you're looking for fan and silly movies - Robin Hood Men in Tights Night at the Museum Trading Places Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure

Darren Mulchan

Original Superman movie? Don't know if you've seen it before, but it's a nice feel good superhero movie.

Paul Wright

I do but I was trying to get a wide collection of different movies :D :D

John Smith

If you haven't seen it Stardust would be a good choice if you wanted another movie in the fantasy genre.

Sythurizm

I would vote for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990)

Will Castillo

Gifted (2017)

Will Castillo

Good Will Hunting (1997)

Will Castillo

As I am a fan of apocalyptic/post apocalyptic movies and those are personally my thing, I'd suggest dozens of cool movies but it would be way too long of a list XD So, I'll give you one apocalyptic horror and 2 from a different genre that I very much believe are worth watching: A Quiet Place (2018) - I was skeptical at first, but loved it, it is very unique in terms of presentation, but despite that it's one of the most authentic apocalyptic horror. One of fav in my list. Gravity (2013) - If you like space movies with a little bit of drama, much action and outstanding visuals (And I think you do :D) this is for you. The Martian (2018) - Another Sf ''Space'' movie but with a one of a kind story. This is one of those movies that are recommended a lot especially for a first time watch.

CptSharKn1ght

Kick-Ass (2010)

Will Castillo

Or the Martian with Matt Damon - that is a fantastic movie. Suggest watching the extended version of this, but the theatrical is great too

The Dingo

Ready Player One (2018)

Will Castillo

You do realize that The Mummy with Brendan Fraser hits all of these genres, right?

The Dingo

3 of my favorite movies of all time!

Ian Forbes

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990) is a classic film that's way better than the title makes it sound. It gets a high recommendation from me as well.

Jeff Seely

Just pick one you haven't seen, please.

trev

Another vote for The Martian

Chris Truex

If you haven’t seen “Lone Survivor” it’s the true story of a famous navy seal mission. Most realistic war movie. If you want something funny….watch “Role Models” all time funniest film.

Shark23

Jurassic Park 100%

Jp Davis

This will be done after the Middle-Earth Adventure :)

John Smith

Comedy - Blended (2014) A&A - The Mummy (2001) Drama&romance - The lucky one (2012) Animation - Sonic (2020) Horror - Saw Blood guts and awesomeness - John Wick (2015)

Onno Smits

Sherlock Holmes (2009)😉

CamNofx

Based on aspects you've mentioned you enjoyed in previous movies you've watched on the Patreon, I think these'd be up your alley: Apollo 13 (1995) - Drama/Historical - Tom Hanks The Martian (2015) - Drama/Science - Matt Damon The Fundamentals of Caring (2016) - Comedy/Drama - Paul Rudd Good Will Hunting (1997) - Drama/Comedy - Matt Damon The Sixth Sense (1999) - Drama/Horror - Bruce Willis The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (2013) - Comedy/Travel - Ben Stiller Edge of Tomorrow (2014) - Action/Comedy - Tom Cruise School of Rock (2003) - Music/Comedy - Jack Black

Onno Smits

Back to the Future

KJ Gould

maybe Django Unchained, and of course Star wars but that is more than one movie though

BigBrain69

Kali, you’ve probably seen The Goonies but if not, it stars both Samwise Gamgee and Thanos … back when they were kids (the actors, not the characters 😎).

Ian Forbes

Something fun. How about Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure?

Brian Leonard

Arrival, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, or Good Will Hunting.

B. Nova

What's Up Doc? (1972)

Allen Bond

Great suggestion!

Ian Forbes

Star Wars

SultanOfSwing

I recommend the secret life of walter mitty from 2013

Dawson Brownell

I think something lighter. You might consider binging Dr Horrible's Sing-along-blog. It's light, funny, and written by Joss Whedon of Firefly fame. It stars Neil Patrick Harris and Nathan Fillion (Captain Reynolds himself)! I believe it's only 45 minutes long total. There are 3 episodes of about 15 minutes each

The Dingo

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1990) ! Runner up, Scott Pilgrim

Dude Longcouch

Drama / more emotional movie - Whiplash Comedy - Airplane Pure Action - Terminator or Mad Max Fury Road Feel free to pick one from the genre you're in the mood for!

M1 Maz

Scott Pilgrim Vs The World

Simon Haynes

Where to start!? Mad Max Fury Road would be crazy. 12 Angry Men if you are in for a classic and one of the best ones. Shawshank Redemption, maybe the best one ever. The Martian, Sci fi with Matt Damon The Last Samurai, epic with Tom Cruise Edge of Tomorrow, another Tom Cruise but sc-fi Good Will Hunting, Matt Damon, Robin Williams. Cant get better. or some lighter ones like Wall-E or Ratatouille but i think the last one could be the best for you right now....Arrival Could go on and on but im sure there other really good suggestion here from the others too.

Curaitis

Movies suggestions I have are Crimson Tide with Denzel Washington The negotiator The breakfast club Enemy of the state

Rashad Walker

These movies I will suggest are fairly heavy ones, so I understand if you want something lighter after Lord of The Rings lol, but even down the road, I think these are some amazing movies to maybe check out. Whiplash (2014) for one. I don't know if you've heard anything about this, but it's an incredible film. Another thats more recent is Heretic (2024) this is a horror movie, but it's not like your ordinary run of the mill horror where it's all about jumpscares. It's a really engaging movie that starts some super interesting conversations. Something maybe lighter that is a fun one maybe is School of Rock! (2003) Jack Black always has a strong presence on screen, and this is definitely a classic of his.

Lorenzo Baxter

Blade Runner 2049? Don’t know if you’ve ever watched it but it’s one of my favorites and very good!
